Cool and chilly Sunday for Houston.

The flood watch for Madison, Houston, Trinity, Walker, San Jacinto, Polk, Burleson, Brazos, Washington, Grimes Montgomery, Colorado and Waller counties expired at 4 a.m. this morning.

We are still watching the chance for scattered showers, but most of the severe weather has left our area.

10-day forecast:

Sunday’s front will drop morning temperatures to 50 degrees early next week. We also get a nice drop in humidity, which makes it feel fresh on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Mild high temperatures are short-lived, only with us on Sunday and Monday.
