Viewers of ITV Britain’s Got Talent denounce ‘offensive’ act as

Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli walked away from their Britain’s Got Talent judges’ table last night in a ‘disgusting’ act during the opening show. The ITV talent show returned for its 17th series last night.

But one act completely divided the judges. Kimberly Winter, 34, explained she flew all the way from the US to perform for the judges.

When the ABBA song The Winner Takes It All started playing in the background, everyone expected her to start singing. But as she leaned into the microphone, she let out a huge belch.

Alesha and Bruno were so offended that they walked away from their seats. But Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden seemed to find Kimberly hilarious, as did the audience.

After her act, Simon commented: “It was so stupid, it was brilliant.” When she burped in response, Bruno told Simon, “She can’t go on,” begging him not to put her through. Amanda then also burped into the microphone in support and continued to burp as Bruno replied: “I’m bitterly disappointed.”

Kimberley reached the next round – much to the dismay of some viewers. “That was actually insulting. It was embarrassing that she had to go through this talent show,” one person wrote in a comment on the official Britain’s Got Talent Instagram.

“There was nothing entertaining about that…” another added. ‘How ridiculous that they approved her. It was disgusting and definitely not talent,” said a third.

“It literally made me sick! My 10 year old was hysterical though!” another added. While someone who was actually in the audience for the audition commented: “I was in the audience, it was disgusting! Not many of us liked it!”

“Worse on BGT tonight,” another fan added.
