Columbia Public Works Holds Rally for East Walnut Street | Mid-Missouri News

Columbia Public Works will hold an informal open house meeting Monday about calming traffic on East Walnut Street east of Old Highway 63.

According to a press release from Public Works, traffic in the area is moving at higher speeds than is desirable.

The meeting, which will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in City Hall Conference Room 1A, 701 E. Broadway, will allow residents to review design proposals, speak with staff and complete a public comment card.

In addition, residents can also leave comments online, email or email Rijkswaterstaat. Public Works requests that “East Walnut Street calm traffic” be included in the subject line of email responses.
