Nashville Sounds pays tribute to parent club, beer with new Brewskis cap – SportsLogos.Net News

The Triple-A Nashville Sounds have been affiliated with the Milwaukee Brewers since 2021, and before that from 2005 to 2014. The team continues a popular tribute to its parent club this season, playing under the name Nashville Brewskis. The Sounds introduced the popular powder blue alternatives last season, designed by Brandon Lamarche of 3-2 Designs, and added a new two-tone field cap this season.

“This design is the longest I’ve had to wait for, from the moment we finished it to the moment it made its real debut,” Lamarche said on social media. “We finished this project with the Sounds right before the pandemic! The shirt made its debut on the field last season. With the hat making its debut this season, the uniform is complete!”

The powder blue color pays tribute to the iconic uniforms worn by the Milwaukee Brewers from 1970 to 1984, and has been reintroduced in their City Connect “Brew Crew” jerseys. The colors, according to the team, are meant to represent summer in Wisconsin: powder blue is “a nod to Milwaukee’s vibrant summer sky,” yellow “evokes the warmth, vibrancy and joy of summer in the Cream City,” and navy blue “symbolizes our beloved Lake Michigan.”

Nashville debuted their new Brewskis caps on April 16 and will take the field again this season on September 3.
