Canada remains undefeated with an 8-3 victory over the Czech Republic at worlds curling mixed doubles

ÖSTERSUND, Sweden – Kadriana Lott and Colton Lott continued their winning streak with an 8-3 win over Czech Republic’s Zuzana Paulova and Tomas Paul on Sunday at the World Curling Mixed Doubles Championship.

The Canadians got off to a hot start before the Czechs conceded with two points remaining.

Leading 2-1 after the second end, Canada (2-0) scored four in the third to take a sizable lead.

The Czech Republic picked up a single in each of the next two tries to cut the deficit to three.

However, a deuce by the Canadians in the sixth sealed the match and left the Czechs with an 0–2 record to start the competition.

Canada will play the Netherlands later on Sunday.
