A traffic stop Saturday in Madison County led to an investigation into a Madison County Schools employee, who was subsequently accused of sex crimes against a 15-year-old student who was in the car with her.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on Makayla Ann Anderton, 26, at Highway 72 and Shields Road around 11:45 p.m. Saturday, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
