Manchester police investigate shooting at New Hampshire mall

MANCHESTER, NH – Police in Queen City are investigating a shooting at the Mall of New Hampshire on South Willow Street.

Police were called to the mall around 4:45 p.m. for a report of a shooting. According to initial reports, the shooting took place in the food court. Manchester police reported in a post on X (formerly Twitter) about 20 minutes after the shooting that the shooting took place in the parking lot.

“This is a thing of the past,” the report said, “NOT active.”

All parties have left the area and police said the investigation was ongoing. According to reports, the shooting victim may have left the area. Police are currently looking for the victim.

“The investigation is ongoing,” police told Patch.

An “officer safety” be-on-the-look (BOLO) alert was issued by police searching for a white SUV containing two women and a man. According to BOLO, the man was the shooter.
