Sheyenne man seriously injured, arrested after vehicle hits guardrail – InForum

MADDOCK, ND – A 71-year-old Sheyenne man was seriously injured Sunday, April 21, after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a bridge guardrail near this city, 45 miles west of Devils Lake.

The man’s Lincoln Mark III was traveling south on Highway 30 around 1:55 a.m. when it lost control and left the road. He was treated at the scene by Maddock Ambulance before being taken to SMP Health-St Aloisius in Harvey. He was treated for his serious injuries in Harvey before being flown by Sanford AirMed for further care at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.

The man, whom the Highway Patrol is not naming, was arrested for driving under the influence. He was not wearing a seat belt. The crash is still under investigation.
