The pair will clash in Texas on July 20, just over two years since Taylor won their Madison Square Garden classic via split decision, in what will be the most expensive women’s boxing match in history.

2012 Olympic gold medalist Taylor will reportedly make $6 million from the fight, which takes place on the same card as Mike Tyson’s fight with Serrano’s promoter Jake Paul.

Taylor v Serrano 2 will be the co-main event of Tyson v Paul and can be viewed on Netflix.

When the fight was announced earlier this week, Taylor said: “This is the rematch the world wanted to see and I’m thrilled it’s finally happening. The first fight in New York was clearly an epic event and it was more than successful. all the way to billing, and I’m sure the rematch will be no different. I would like to thank Matchroom and DAZN for their help in making the fight possible and I look forward to defending my titles as undisputed world champion in Dallas on Saturday. July 20.”

“While my focus remains on giving women the choice to fight with the same rules as men, I’ve always said this is the one fight I would go back to 10×2 for if Katie wanted. I’m coming for her belts she wants 10×2 so that’s what we’ll do. I believe I won our first fight but I didn’t get the decision so this time I won’t leave it to the judges.
